What is CCA?
Christian Community Action is a faith-based nonprofit organization that has been meeting the needs of the disadvantaged in our community for more than three decades. CCA serves families in crisis by providing food, housing, medical care, educational and vocational training, along with vital personal and spiritual support.

Who does CCA help?
Most of the families we work with are mothers with two or three school-aged children. They need a variety of services, including financial support, job skills, food and many times help finding affordable housing.

What percent of CCA ministry is supported by ReSale and donations?
Approximately 50 percent of ReSale gross sales.

Do you hold your clients accountable?
As CCA is accountable to the families it serves, those families in turn must be accountable by following CCA guidelines and remain in good standing in order to continue receiving services and benefits. We seek to build deep, lasting relationships with struggling families and give them the tools and confidence to succeed. A family’s commitment to utilizing these tools and support are what leads to the transformation for a more abundant life.

How much does it cost a mother each week to use the childcare New Hope Learning Center program?
As low as $40 a week based on sliding-scale.

What types of volunteers do you need?
Christian Community Outreach relies on a variety of volunteers to ensure our success. These include teachers, clerical workers, doctors, dentists and nurses for our health center; fundraisers; food pantry volunteers; builders; childrens’ Back to School and Christmas Toy Store program volunteers, and more.
