POSITION: Clothing Processor

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday
                  7 am to 12 noon                          

RESPONSIBLE TO: Manager, Clothing Department                 

SALARY RANGE: Level 4

DUTIES:

• Sort a continuous flow of clothing, linens, accessories and shoes, selecting only those articles which meet CCA's standard for resale.
• Sort, tag, measure, price and box items as demonstrated by Manager.
• Maintain clothing and immediate work areas clean, organized and free from hazard.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a familiarity with fabrics, fashion and designer labels, capable of identifying quality, style, fashion trends, unique or unusual items.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be capable of working with dirt, dust, mildew, molds, odors, etc...
• Must be self motivated and enjoy working with other people.
• Must be physically able to operate tagging tool continuously without discomfort.
• Must be clean, well groomed, and adhere to the dress code i.e.. collared shirts.
• Must be capable of working in a goal-oriented atmosphere, comfortable with standards, quotas and goals.
• Must be flexible and willing to work in other areas as needed.
• Must be capable of working as a member of a team.
