Change A Life For Good!
For almost 50 years, Christian Community Action (CCA) has been caring for people living in poverty, and it’s been possible because people have cared enough to contribute to help those who are struggling.
It’s been neighbors helping neighbors.
No more is that true than right now. As we approach the end of April, we are working hard not to turn away any families. But we can’t do this without you.
Help us reach our goal of $150,000 by the end of April. We have only a few days left in the month.
Your contributions help alleviate suffering, bring hope, and change lives. They help restore a family’s dignity as they seek to get back on their feet.
In the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus’ final instructions were to “go and do likewise.” Go and care for those less fortunate. Go and care for those who can’t for themselves. Go and care for your neighbors.
That’s at the heart of CCA, and you make that possible for many.
Like the single mother of three who lost her job because of COVID, and her child’s daycare closed. She was behind with her rent and was desperate, facing eviction when she came to CCA. We helped her catch up and get ahead with her rent. She has now found a job working from home. Hope restored.
Situations like this are only possible because of people like you caring for those who are suffering right now.
Her story of desperation is multiplied over and over.
There’s Francisca, another single mom who is doing everything she can to better the life of her children. She’s attending CCA’s Faith & Finance and English as Second Language classes, plus she has a full-time job.
“I want to learn as much as I can,” she said. “I want a better life for my children.”
Your contributions help Francisca’s determination for a better life for her and her children come true. You restore her hope.
Consider a contribution today. Help us reach our goal of $150,000 this month. The deadline is only a few days away, and we can’t do this without you.
Thank you.
