Christian Community Action offers the following services:
  • Financial assistance for rent and utilities
  • Self-selection Food Pantry
  • Children’s programs including Back-to-School, Kids Eat Free summer program, and Christmas Cheer
  • Life-Skills training including job readiness, ESL, SNAP, resume writing, budgeting, computer training, first-time home buyer, entrepreneurship, spiritual care and counseling.
  • Golden Angels senior program
To qualify for services, you must live in our service area and meet income requirements (both listed below)

  • Coppell ISD
  • Frisco ISD
  • Lake Dallas ISD
  • Lewisville ISD
  • Little Elm ISD
  • Northwest ISD

If you live in one of the services areas, have a documented crisis and need food, you are eligible to visit the Food Pantry.

Eligible Food Pantry visitors receive a prepackaged box of nutritious food along with other necessities as available, the same day you visit.

In order to assist us in determining your eligibility, a picture ID and proof of residency is required. Acceptable forms of proof include:

  • Current utility bill/insurance
  • Current lease
  • Room receipt from hotel/motel

If you live in our service area, meet the income requirements listed above and need help paying your rent and/or utility bills, bring the following required documents to start the process:

  • Proof of crisis (what caused to lose income and need assistance)
  • Copy of all adults’ photo identification
  • Copy of all children’s birth certificate or SS card
  • Copy of your signed lease
  • Proof of all adults’ income in the household
  • Current utility bill
  • Current ledger
  • Documentation of your loss income
  • Six months of bank statements

We will see individuals requesting assistance by WALK-IN during our office hours of:

  • Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 11:00 am and 1:00-3:00 pm
  • Friday – 9:00 am – 11 am.

Program Services (excludes the Food Pantry) closes once/month for staff development and training on the following dates in 2023.
