Christian Community Action would like to welcome you to the annual Hopeful Hearts 5K / 1-Mile run (or walk) Stampede, in partnership with the City of Lewisville’s Western Days. The event is in loving memory of Tricia’s father and CCA founder, Tom Duffy and will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Tony Tolbert, three-time Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl champion will serve as Honorary Chair of the event! As a defensive end for the Cowboys from 1989-1997, Tolbert played an important role in the Cowboys’ rise to prominence in the 90’s and their three Super Bowl victories. He became one of the stalwarts, on one of the best defenses of the 90’s. During that time, he teamed up with Charles Haley to become one of the top pass-rushing duos in the NFL. During Tolbert’s career, he recorded 59 quarterback sacks in 128 games played over the course of nine seasons, plus he returned his only interception 54 yards for a touchdown. He had more sacks during the 90s than any other Cowboy player.
